Terms and community rules
The deal.
Version 2026-10-24. Draft pending review by a UAE qualified lawyer before public launch.
The service
Cortex Connect gives you an AI agent that suggests people you may get along with for love, friends, business, events and travel in Dubai. Scores are estimates from what members share. They are not a promise of compatibility, safety or outcome.
Eligibility
- You are 18 or older.
- You live in or are visiting Dubai.
- The profile is about you and is true to the best of your knowledge. You may not create a profile for anyone else.
Credits and paid gifts
- Credits pay for cheers (a non alcoholic gift such as karak, qahwa or juice) and for opening a chat. Prices are shown before you confirm.
- Welcome credits expire after 30 days.
- A cheers the other person never answers is not refunded automatically. Contact us if something went wrong.
- Plans: Plus AED 29, Premium AED 79, VVIP AED 199 a month, renewing monthly until you cancel in your Whop account. A cancelled plan stays active until the end of the paid month.
- Credit packs: 20 credits AED 20, 50 credits AED 45, 120 credits AED 99. Bought credits last 5 years and are not refundable once spent.
- Payments are processed by Whop and follow UAE consumer law.
Bookings
When you book through Cortex we pass your request to the venue or our partner Dawrni, and the venue confirms. Venues marked "Sample" are placeholders for testing and not real reservations. You pay the venue directly unless shown otherwise.
Community rules
- Be respectful. No harassment, hate, threats or pressure.
- No nudity or sexual content. Follow UAE law and public decency standards.
- No scams, selling, recruiting or asking for money.
- Only share someone's number or photos with their consent.
- A no is final. Don't create new accounts to contact someone who blocked you.
- Meet in public places first and tell a friend where you're going.
We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules, and report illegal activity to the authorities.
Safety
We don't run criminal background checks. Use block and report whenever something feels wrong. In an emergency in the UAE call 999.
AI
Your agent, suggested openers and date ideas come from software and can be wrong. Decide for yourself who to meet.
Liability
To the extent UAE law allows, Cortex isn't liable for the conduct of members or venues, or for indirect losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under UAE law.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the UAE.
